Supervised living services provides habilitation, supervision and availability of a service provider staff to help
The HCS Program provides services to people with IDD who live with their family, in their own home, in a foster/ companion care setting, or in a residence with no more than four people who also receive services. The HCS program provides services to meet the person’s needs so the person can maintain himself or herself in the community and have opportunities to participate as a citizen to the maximum extent possible. Service coordination is provided by the MRA. Residents of foster/companion care setting or an HCS resident pay for their own room and board with either their monthly Supplemental Security Income check or other personal resources.
