BERRY BULLETIN

COVID-19 UPDATE

March 16, 2020

Dear families and guardians,

Each of us has an important impact on how the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation plays out and affects people across the nation.  We are all together in this right now. It’s incumbent on us to make sure that we are protecting our individuals, staff, families and communities. In the United States the severity of Covid-19 depends on the timely and effective preventative measures we take right now.

At Berry Family Services, we’ve taken many actions to mitigate the risks to our individuals, staff and contractors company wide including adding more frequent cleaning, sanitation services and stations, additional hand washing and glove use, ensuring that people who are ill stay home, people who have traveled or have family members who have traveled to affected countries or United States ‘hot spots’ work remotely, and are following the recommendations and guidelines set forth by the CDC.

At this time, in our effort to help mitigate the spread of the virus, we have instructed Berry Family Services employees to minimize all travel that requires being in large groups of people or traveling through airports for the time being.  Travel that is deemed an emergency will be determined and monitored on a case by case basis.  We believe that this approach is practical based on the information available.

In the effort to minimize contact we have closed our office to external visitors and we will not be conducting any face to face visits for the time being. Our employees will utilize phone, FaceTime and email whenever possible to ensure communications remain consistent.

We are doing everything we can to minimize interruptions to business operations and strive to remain vigilant to ensure we continue to serve your needs.

If you need to drop off paperwork please utilize our drop box that is located in the flower bed in front of our office door.

We look forward to the return to normalcy soon and believe that these actions will help to minimize the time to achieve that while keeping our individuals and community safe in the interim. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. If there is anything that we can do to help or support you, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you for being a part of The Berry family,
Cindy, Tom, and Jason Berry
